Flip It Over for the Ovaries
Will You Flip It Over With Me?
Joining Together and Empowering Women with Knowledge
A familiar pink ribbon. A new conversation about ovarian cancer. Join us in turning awareness into knowledge—and knowledge into conversations that matter.
You Recognize the Ribbon. Let's Recognize the Symptoms.
This October, we invite you to wear a pink ribbon upside down as a conversation starter about ovarian cancer. When someone asks why, share the campaign and encourage them to learn the symptoms.
This campaign uses the familiar pink breast cancer ribbon as an invitation to discuss ovarian cancer. It honors both causes.
Hold the Line
An original song, co-written with AI and sung by AI
(Verse 1)
There's a promise in the air, but it's fading fast
Said you'd show up Friday, now it's Monday past
I could let it slide, pretend it's all okay
But silence builds a distance that won't go away
I've been telling stories in my head all night
Turning shadows into something black and white
But what if there's a reason I don't see?
Maybe truth is somewhere in between
(Pre-Chorus)
So I take a breath, steady my ground
Not here to blame, just figure it out
(Chorus)
Let's hold the line, not tear it apart
Speak the truth, but lead with heart
Close the gap between what's said and done
We don't walk away, we overcome
No blame, no shame, just clarity
Turning conflict into harmony
Yeah, we rise when we take accountability
(Verse 2)
It's not just one time, now it's happening again
Is it just a moment, or a pattern setting in?
If we don't address it, it will grow too deep
Turning trust to something we can't keep
So I bring the facts, not the fire inside
Talk about the impact, not my wounded pride
And I ask you, "Help me understand"
Now we're talking, not just taking stands
(Pre-Chorus)
Safety first, so we can be real
Same goal, same ground—this is how we heal
(Chorus)
Let's hold the line, not tear it apart
Speak the truth, but lead with heart
Close the gap between what's said and done
We don't walk away, we overcome
No blame, no shame, just clarity
Turning conflict into harmony
Yeah, we rise when we take accountability
(Bridge)
Content, pattern, relationship
Where are we standing in all of this?
If we want change, we've got to see
What drives the why beneath the "what" we see
Motivation, ability
Pressure, systems, community
Six forces shaping what we do
Change the system, and the person too
(Breakdown)
Not about winning, not about control
It's about trust, it's about the whole
Hard conversations, but they set us free
That's the power of accountability
(Final Chorus)
We hold the line, we don't let go
We face the truth so we can grow
From broken trust to something strong
We fix what's right instead of wrong
No blame, no shame, just clarity
Turning conflict into harmony
Yeah, we rise when we take accountability
(Outro)
So come as you are, say what is true
I'll meet you halfway, we'll make it through
'Cause every hard truth we're brave enough to see
Is a step toward who we're meant to be
Know Your Body. Notice Changes. Speak Up.
- Bloating.
- Pelvic pain or pressure.
- Abdominal or back pain.
- Feeling full quickly or difficulty eating.
- More frequent or urgent urination, or constipation.
- Unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge.
These symptoms can have causes other than cancer. If symptoms other than unusual bleeding persist for two weeks or longer and are not normal for you, contact a healthcare professional. Seek medical evaluation right away for unusual vaginal bleeding.
A Pap test does not screen for ovarian cancer. There is no reliable routine screening test for people without symptoms who are at average risk. Discuss symptoms, family history, and personal risk with your healthcare professional.

In Loving Memory
This campaign began in memory of my mother, who passed away from ovarian cancer in July 2025. It is a personal invitation to honor her life by helping more women recognize changes in their bodies and feel empowered to speak with their healthcare professionals.
In loving memory of Kathleen Eblen Beers August 9, 1952 - July 28, 2025
For every mother, daughter, sister, friend, and woman we've lost—and for those whose stories are still unfolding.
